New to yoga?

Q: What should I wear?

A: We recommend light and fitted attire, such as: swimwear, sports bras, tank tops, shorts, etc.

Anything you would wear to the beach or to the gym is just fine!

Heavy or restrictive fabrics are not recommended. Most of our classes are designed to make you sweat, so prepare to embrace it!

Q: What should I bring?

A: Due to the COVID-19 situation, you will need a few of your own personal accessories in order to practice.

  • One Large Towel to wipe that hard work from your brow!

  • One Yoga Mat

  • One (or two!) Water Bottle(s) (We have reverse osmosis water to fill your bottle in the lobby!)

  • An open mind

If you lack any of the above, no worries, we sell them at the front desk!

Our desk staff can even open your mind free of charge! We love to talk!

Q: I’ve never done yoga. Can I take any class at the studio?

A: Absolutely! All of our classes are open to beginners, of any level or ability.

We invite you to listen to your body and respect your own limitations throughout your practice. If something doesn’t feel right, don’t do it, and ask the teacher about how to adjust the pose in the future to better suit your needs.

Q: Can I eat before class?

A: So long as it’s a light snack, then sure!

Some yoga poses really twist and put pressure on your internal organs, which is a great thing to do, but not on a full stomach!

Though we encourage you to come to class well hydrated, we suggest not eating much at least 2 hours before class to ensure proper digestion. (After a few classes you’ll become attuned to your body’s needs best performance).

Q: Are all classes in a heated room?

A: No! We’re not only a hot yoga studio!

While we specialize in Bikram Hot Yoga, which is practiced in a room heated to 105 degrees F (40 degrees C) with 40% humidity… Our other classes offer varying degrees of heat, some of which are at room temperature.

New to the studio? Ask about our ‘hot spots’ in the room. (Some sections under the heating elements are hotter than others!)

Q: Do you offer student rates or an Energy Exchange program?

A: Yes to both! Please see our front desk for details.

Q: I have more questions, how can I get in touch?

A: Check our schedule and show up at the studio about 20 minutes before any class starts to speak to somebody at the front desk, that’s the best way!
